About the Role
The Waitstaff is responsible for providing the best possible service of food and beverage to all Guests by providing timely and courteous food and beverage service. This position is the heart and soul of our restaurant - serving the local community.
Compensation: Starting at $7.25+tips, based on experience.
Summary of Tasks Performed by Waitstaff Essential Functions:
• Obtain Food Handlers Permit
• Obtain Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission Permit
• Greets guests promptly and courteously, reviews specials and menu options.
• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items.
• Maintains service station, before, during and after shift to ensure proper set-up and cleanliness. Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point-of-Sale computer.
• Must be able to wear the Lakeview Tavern & Resort uniform throughout entire shift.
• Serve food and drinks by following RB Golf Club & Resort standards.
• Ability to operate computerized POS system, make change and accurately conduct credit card transactions.
• Practice teamwork by helping co-workers.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Any additional tasks assigned by the manager on duty such as, but not limited to, taking inventory, documenting processes and cleaning.
• Working environment consists of: Restaurant, Ballroom, Pavilion, Golf Course, and public spaces.
